Volume 3, Issue 3 of Global Bangladesh includes nine articles. This issue focuses on diverse issues concerning Bangladesh.

In his article “ Reimagining politics in Bangladesh : from binaries to trust,”  Ashfaq Zaman highlights the importance of trust  and inclusivity in Bangladesh politics.

Professor Salim Rashid in his article “ The urgent need for spatial planning in Bangladesh” calls for spatial planning that will serve as a bridge between macroeconomic plans and ground-level projects.

K.M. Arshad,  an under-graduate student of Dhaka University, in his article “ A Reform Left Unaddressed: Why Does the Interim Government Lack an Education Reform Commission?” notes the absence of a reform commission for the education sector. He highlights the ailments that plague educational institutions in Bangladesh.

Ashis Datta, in his article “The promise of protection: Bangladesh’s approach to achieving global

bio-diversity goals,” examines the performance of Bangladesh in meeting the goals. He also highlights the challenges facing Bangladesh.

Habib Zafarullah in the article “Bangladesh’s infrastructure: Big dreams, broken roads” narrates the problems involving infrastructure projects and calls for improving the governance and maintenance of these projects.

Alamgir Islam in his article “Future & Innovation: Green energy, skilled migration, artificial intelligence (AI) & technology,” calls for building an innovative economy in Bangladesh through green energy, upgrading of skills, and artificial intelligence in different sectors.

Mohammad Masud Alam and Habib Siddiqui, in the article “Inclusive prosperity: Reimagining

Bangladesh’s economic Future,” narrates the  economic performance of the current interim government of Bangladesh. They also call for strengthening institutional mechanisms to curb corruption.

Faruque Ahmed in his article provides a historical account of  the settlement of Bengalees in England since the mid 17th century. He also describes the settlement of migrants from Sylhet in England.

Finally, Mohammad Zaman and Habiba  Zaman in their article : “Aging and wonder: 75 years of grace and growth,” provide a vivid, reflective, and delightful account of their 75th birthday celebration in Vancouver.
