Editorial Policy
- We aim to publish this magazine three times a year in a digital format.
- Articles, which have to be original, can be either in English or Bangla.
- The magazine will consider both solicited and un-solicited articles.
- Articles should be written in non-technical language.
- The magazine will occasionally publish special issues focussing on specific themes or subjects concerning the diaspora community.
- The magazine may also publish book reviews and interviews with writers, educationists, and innovators.
- The magazine is different from local daily or weekly online newspapers, which usually serve the diaspora communities in major cities. It is also different from academic journals which cater to very specialised professional groups. Global Bangladesh welcomes articles that are reflective, forward-looking, and of interest to broad groups of audiences in the diaspora community as well as in Bangladesh.
- It welcomes articles from students, professionals, creative writers, development practitioners, and social entrepreneurs in Bangladesh. It will also consider articles from non-Bangladeshis in Bangladesh or foreign countries who have academic or professional interests in Bangladesh.
- The editorial team will review each submission, suggest improvements, wherever necessary, and accept or reject it as appropriate.
